English Club is an Android application designed to help users improve their English spelling skills. With over 1000 English words and phrases, the app is based on the Oxford textbooks for Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate levels. The word selection has been carefully curated by Oxford Team teacher Margarita Churkina.
Upon launching the app, users can choose the desired unit, which then opens a training screen with a Russian word or phrase. The goal is to type the English translation without any errors. If the translation is correct, another word or phrase will be randomly presented. Each unit is considered complete after typing each word three times. For those who need assistance, there is a "help" button that provides the translation, but the word typed after using this feature does not count.
Recently, the app introduced a voice prompt mode, allowing users to listen to the pronunciation of words and phrases. This feature enhances the learning experience and helps users improve their pronunciation skills.
